Bio:
motif came together in mid 2001 when David and Fiona began writing songs
together after meeting in a Richmond pub. Shortly after, Callum and Dave joined
the experience and the first gig was in August. Unfortunately, the full band
line up was not to last, but motif songwriters, David and Fiona, have continued
to gig acoustically.
Fee has had extensive experience playing in a number of bands since the age of
16 where, apart from being vocalist and songwriter, has played keyboards,
guitar, mandolin and other instruments. At the end of 1996, Fee left for England
where she teamed up with various musical people, featured on several compilations and recorded 'Love Left', which received some attention from
nightclubs and music press.
David originally played for a number of years in the guitar driven rock world of
Blue Mist Drive, playing gigs all over Melbourne, including public radio
benefits and support for bands such as Autohaze, Even, Boss Hog and many others.
