..The Rose Beneath The Petals..
Starting from the beginning, I was born on August 23, 1991 in a small town in Minnesota. Raised with three older brothers and a married mother and father; moving 4 times before I was 12. I began in Minnesota until I was three years old, when my family and I packed up to move to Sparta, Wisconsin where we settled in for 5 years. After getting tired of it there, my father had a change in work with the Army and became AGR; meaning that now he made more money but also has to move every 3-5 years to a new place the Army needed him at. He'd take his family, of course. So... The next place him and his family ventured off to was Seattle, Washington. The whole family found it warm, peaceful, great weather and fell in love with the whole state. They loved the people, the scenery, the weather and everything about it. They even found a nice church that they got involved in. It didn't last long because in August of 2003 they shoved their things in boxes and flew straight down; to Hawaii. That's when the nightmare began, the nightmare that Stephanie referred to as "Hell," it wasn't as bad as hell, she was sure of that. But she did know one thing. It was as close to hell as she'd ever gotten, you see.. The people didn't greet her with a lei of beautiful fresh flowers, they greeted her with hate and racism. She was harassed by classmates for having a bit more of a ghostly skin color than they'd prefer. It wasn't only that though, oh no. It didn't stop there. The weather was horrible, when it rained: it poured. The heat was almost unbearable and the humidity made you feel sticky and weird. Her journey to Hawaii wasn't pleasant; but there was another thing to add. She had left her family, her twenty-two year old brother and only months after moving to Hawaii, her coming-of-age eighteen year old brother left her too. She had felt abandoned and alone, but wasn't really. She had one brother left; a 15 year old who had just started going out with friends, like any normal teenager would. She was stuck in a house with her computer and her virtual friends. She was missunderstood at school, and while having friends there [she wasn't a total loner] she felt like an outsider, the odd man out, the weirdo.. She felt... Alone. That was the only way to describe it, loneliness. Her brothers had left her, her parents didn't understand her. No one understood her. The only thing that did was her TV [which played Dawson's Creek] and her computer which her virtual friends were located at.

Back, you depressed fool!
