We had another great event this past Friday at the Liquor Dome, we hope
all of you who were there had fun.
This brings us to our last event for this semester. The CSA is organizing
a Casino Night this coming Friday, November 23. Tickets are $2 for members
and $5 for non-members. The revenue from ticket sales will be used to cover
the cost of transportation.
The trip includes:
1. A $15 voucher for use during the night.
2. A $2 voucher for Keno.
3. A $10 voucher for use during your next trip to the Casino.
4. Transportation to the Casino from the University.
Buses will leave from the parking lot in front of the Vanier Building at
18:00 and 18:30 and return at 23:00 and 23:30.
Tickets will be for sale on Thursday, November 22, and Friday November 23,
in the University Centre from 10:00 to 16:00. There are only 90 tickets
available for this event, they will be sold on a first come first serve
basis.

This Friday, October 12, the CSA will be having a Movie Night for all of our
members. We are going to be showing not one, but two movies hosted in VNR
146. Here are the details:

Description:
Law student Mike McDermott (Matt Damon), loses his entire savings to Russian
club owner Teddy KGB (John Malkovich). Mike then turns away from cards,

(Gretchen Mol), who's concerned when Mike's former gambling buddy Worm (Edward
Norton) is released from prison. She has good reason to worry, since it takes
Worm only a matter of minutes to draw Mike back into poker action. Worm has a
pre-prison debt, and the threatening Grama (Michael Rispoli) wants the money.
Mike not only indulges the irresponsible Worm, he gets involved in Worm's
debts. When Grama demands $15,000 on a five-day deadline, the two buddies go
into high gear with a non-stop, no-sleep gambling binge that spirals downward
toward an ultimate confrontation with Teddy KGB

This coming Friday October 12th, we will be hosting a movie night
at the university free for all members! The movie has yet to be decided.
A finalized e-mail will be sent to everyone when all the details have been
confirmed.
Also coming up Friday October 26th is the Halloween dance we are organizing
at the Liquor Dome. The price will be $2 for member, $2.50 for non-member,
and $3 at the door.
