I have now been playing the drums for almost a year. I would say I've made some decent progress:-). I've also been playing the guitar for a lil over half a year. Drumming has always been a musical passion that I've loved. Guitar is just something that is much more versatile. I've been playing on my original set for the past year. I would have to say that I enjoy alternative rock. I listen to all types, yes, even some country, but it all depends on my mood. Here are some shots of me doing my thang...
My kit includes; 22inch bass drum, 12 inch tom, 14 inch tom, 18 inch floor tom, 14 inch steel snare. All I just mentioned are Pearl brand. I'm currently using Cory's hi-hats(14 inch Zildjian New Rock), and his 16 inch Zildjian A. I also use a 14 inch Sabian studio crash, and a 22 inch Paiste Innovations ride. And when playing guitar I use my Cort Acoustic that my grandpa gave me.
