Remembering the Wedding of Arienne [O*T] to Fivestar [DSR] 

October 23, 2004. *

It was a beautiful brisk and starry evening in late October as the company gathered at Nujel'm Palace to celebrate the union of our beautiful and brave  Arienne with the noble Fivestar, a warrior from a respected fellow Lake Austin guild.  The couple had been courting for months, as they campaigned together to protect our beloved shard from invaders and despoilers.  Their unity of purpose combined with the love they developed between them to produce a powerful force for good on our shard.

On October 23rd, 2004 the company gathered at Nujel'm Palace, just prior to 8:00 p.m. (U.S. Central Time) decked out in their finest garments.  The Wedding Party grouped in order to proceed into the palace in front of the Bride and Groom.  Fivestar and Ari, as her character Elynde, were wearing the most precious fabrics and finery Britannia could offer!

The wedding party lined up along the landing in front of the minister and guests.

As the couple turned to face each other, the minister called on them to repeat the vows of matrimony:

They profess their undying love for each other and make a solemn pledge to honor their vows truthfully and faithfully.

After repeating the sacred vows, the couple assents to the marriage.

Rings are exchanged to seal the vows of matrimony and responsibility.

The union is sealed with a kiss.

As the ceremony ends, a blessing is conferred upon them and echoed by their friends and witnesses.

And the celebration begins....

the Wedding Feast was resplendent with finery, food, and festivity!

The feast was followed by dancing.

All the company enjoyed the event and bestowed their best wishes for good fortune upon the happy couple.  Gifts were showered on the pair from their friends and comrades in arms.
