In the cool air of a long ago night
        I found a heart warming passion... a future bright.
                                    Pent up emotions all stirred up in my soul,
                  And released with her kiss in a youthful glow...
A kiss that made my heart swell with desire.
            To taste the sweetness of her skin, hear her heart beat with mine,
                          To smell the aroma her breath, she is ecstasy in flesh so fine.

Everything that is me I discovered that night
        When all that we shared seemed to fit just right.
                                    I wonder did she hear my private thought,
                  Did she have similar fantasies about forever in love's keep vault?
I soared with her, like a feather carried in the breeze.
            The winds of passion and the calm of tomorrows were all I felt
                          As I found in her the reasons for my heart to melt.

Now in the emptiness of our lost love years
        Does she feel our separateness... and does this create for her tears?
                                    I long to melt my heart with hers once more.
                  To once again feel the serenity of her lips like before,
To share a mutual love that I can never replace
            To lose all that is me in her... where it was first discovered
                          To face the future... with our love uncovered.
