Words in a poem
@Uootem
I find no insurmountable significance to the time that has swelled up between us, be it a day or year or more that has passed,
it does not matter to my steadfast heart. for when i unexpectedly see you in this present time i can with a closing of eyes conjure a daydream thought- and in only seconds re-live the love we once shared.
In no modern day craft i reach my destination, or by soaring through the ether of our youth, but through a humble poetic thought, with words tangled in emotions and
just as uncertain as memory of our time is clear.
This i bring forth to you... not roses with their thorns, carried in my outstretched hands, but my heart folded in this paper, willing to receive, ready to take and give by remembering. i come before you in verse of the poet's laboring: read or throw away as you will... for that is my fate.
My yearning, revealed in the words written,
into phrases... silent poems that speak
the stuff that lets me revisit what left me so long ago, so that it will remain with me forever.
