You walk into my view and my heart feels all it felt before.
you speak with that voice and excitement fills the air around us.
we stop chat for a moment and I never want you to leave again.
you take my breath away instantly... I must struggle to regain my composure .
you make me smile by just being there... my smile an echo of yours.

Our being together seems so familiar,
but I stumble for just the right words to say.
i realize now that we had a love that others only dream of,
one that was written in the stars before we were even born,
the kind of love that is the reason for sunshine and moonlight.
I want that love to return to us in this lifetime.

I know this love exists because I still dream of it.

I dream of looking deep into your eyes
            and to seeing the love you feel for me
I dream of having our best conversations...
            the ones that are never spoken but had through our eyes
I want to have you by my side always
              holding my hand when evening comes,
                  laughing with me when it rains,
                      counting stars we share a night,
                            eating breakfast in the morning fog,
I want to grow old with you
I want our love to last for all time,
              my lifetime dreams fulfilled

But for now, I must be content
            To have you walk into view
