You surely would think that I am crazy,
and you would say something like "how can that be?"
if I revealed how my heart still aches for your return
but if you just look into my eyes for a second
you'd be able to see that I am still in love with you.

You are such a distant time away, I know that as truth
for it hurts so bad to feel my heart this empty.
I know you don't feel the love you once had for me
but could you just turn around a moment and try to remember?
remember that what we shared was special and should ever be.

You broke my heart when you said you didn't want any more serious,
those words hurt deeply, but did not change the way I feel
I can't pretend I don't love you and that everything's just perfect now
I can't hold back what I feel because I don't think its right,
but if you let me I would very much like being that special man in your life....

I know it is not this way today, and perhaps will never be, but
if your feelings should happen to change and you decide you want more,
just simply let me know and I will show you the way back to what we had.
for now and always I will continue to feel the way I do,
and I will for now keep secret the feelings that I love you.....
