I happen to meet you in an unexpected place,
after so many years of rarely seeing you at all,
and once again I am simply blown away at the sight,
because there is so much love in you that I remember
and so much love that I can still feel in your presence,
a love that seemed so perfect in every way imaginable
a love that I wish every day had never gone away.

The sound of your sweet voice is like a rarely heard melody
that is so familiar, the words memorized by heart
a beautiful sound to my ears and somehow still soothing to my soul.
Your smile is so indescribable, that at its appearance I become weak and
my heart skips a beats, my composure loses its normal control.

When you speak to me in the casual conversations of today
the sound of your voice captures me as it has done before
and in a way that is unexplainable to the rational mind.

The fragrance of your hair and skin takes control of my body,
making me weak and I feel the urge of wanting to be closer to you.
but I dare not reveal this need... for I know I am not necessarily welcome there.
