Within my soul you are a familiar love song,
    the lyrics that fill my life with meaning.
          the melody that rings in my mind's ear.
The smiles we shared provided the fullness of vision,
    with which we made our memories.
          with which I still make dreams.

With you ever on my mind,
    and your graceful movements remembered
          we still dance our agile dance.
Our young love was the springtime,
    that lets flowers bloom and birds fly.
          There were days for smiles and tears,
within this wonderful recollection.

And I watch for you in the sunset
    and search all time for a way,
          so that together we can make our love sing
          so that the man in the moon can forever smile
          so that lyrics can have real meaning
          so that the melody can be in harmony again
              and we can dance to the music we make together.
