"I'm a dreamer... till then"

I'm a dreamer who has always believed that
the love we once shared should ever be.
But you must not have thought it so strong.

Still I must continue my dreaming
that someday... somehow
you will come to see us... in the same light I see.

What brought us to each other
in those days so many lifetimes before
still lingers in my heart and still makes me want more...

Often have I written that you and I were meant to be.
I know that our destinies crossed for a reason
but I do not fully understand its meaning.

Yet time nor tears can not erase
the days we set aside, the plans for our future.
to be shared, and to be loved so much.

But the time did inevitably come
for us to walk our separate pathways
I can feel the pain of emptiness inside my heart.

I am a dreamer as you know,
I'd "love to love you" again.
somehow it has to be that way...

This "me too you", kind of dreamer
the one you discovered one day...
will survive... I hope.... till then...
