"Someday in my life..."

Life flows rapidly by,
like the unforgiving water
of a torrential river.
My favorite memories of life that passed,
were formed as an adolescent
so lost in the world of young love
those wonderful moments together with her.
Oh, how i longed to be with her forever...
and thought I surely would.
But time marched on and on and on...
And that love was too soon gone.
I grew up.
It was sometimes hard
and always lonely.
But I still feel young,
haven't seen all the world...
but can't forget that I saw heaven,
in one beautiful girl.
She changed my heart,
and she changed my life.
So I took her hand,
and planned that she would be my wife.
When I saw her eyes,
I knew I'd found the best.
And for a while she smiled and loved...
but all that ended too soon.
Life goes on...
I still smile and hold her,
in my eternal dreams.
as I wait for my dreams to come true.
But i know somehow...
I'll always be blue.
I'll still get on with my life.
I'll still have those dreams.
Because with my love and my soul,
things are never what they seem.
for i love her more than life itself,
and she's my world and life
and everything else.
I keep hope alive for my beautiful lost love.
that she'll be with me again
someday in my life...
