A cascade of unfermented thoughts
coalescing into the panorama of my mind...
forming a diorama of long ago memories...
ambrosia-like thoughts of you and I.
sensations melting into all the cherished emotions;
of heartfelt addiction, tenderness and youthful inquisitiveness,
in the foreshadowing of what lifetime mysteries await,
. . . of the longing, titillation, bonding, marveling,
quest for more of the love found so long ago
. . . anxiety of more pain known these years.

In this haunting forms a prognostication of seeing you again...
like the transition after a springtime rain shower,
the air of each moment is freshened with renewal,
a heart of hopefulness, a hunger for that tasted before,
intense and unfaltering, a formable leap of faith....
ever present, everlasting... suchlike my love for you
Do you remember... do you ever share these apparitions?

These are the yearnings you feel when your heart is silent;
that reaches out to be seen... from a long forever ago time
They are the comfortable tree you lean against on a summer's day
when you stop to ponder the bridge you just crossed;
the footpaths of your past, and when you embrace life with
a gentle persistence of heart and
with enough courage to face the unrelentless uncertainty.

. . . and in that moment, when you can hear you heart beat,
I will be the whisper in the soft breeze that caresses your sweet face,
and kisses the vulnerability in your eyes... that is usually not shown.
I will be the quite after one of life's storm, the stillness in your doubts
encouraging you to move forward only... only forward...
but with an eye on that yesterday you remember.
