"In my Recollections"

@Uootem

In my recollections of that long passed time
I can hear you whisper my name
And saying those words that made me love.
Words full of youthful emotions...
those of adolescent passions.
I can't help but wonder would it sound the same.

In my recollections of that long passed time
I can still smell the fragrance of your hair
And feel my fingers running through.
A bouquet of springtime flowers...
that delicate scent of young love.
Reminding me of a desire I can hardly bare.

In my recollections of that long passed time
I can feel the inviting warmth of your kiss.
That found my soul... captured my heart.
The sweet taste of lovers...
That feast of mutual obsession.
An experience I continue to miss.

In my recollections of that long passed time
I can feel your satisfying and tender touch.
That touch always sent my blood racing
The caresses of love learning...
that appeal of newfound yearning.
Intensifying my longing for you so much.

In my recollections of that long passed time
As always, there is comfort in your embrace.
Where our bodies fit so perfectly together
Like they were born for that very purpose.
That settled comfort and unbridled eagerness
Playful, mischievous... with dignity and grace.

In my recollections of that long passed time
We share so much love, reveal emotions so carefree.
We dream together and find common ground
Where our love for each other can flourish
So natural and familiar the way it's supposed to be.

In my recollections of that long passed time
That's where I'll wait for you my lost lover.
That's where I could be spellbound forever
Unless we someday find a place for our love
Where there is no beginning or end to discover.
