As I descend into the depths of emptiness...
I fear that I will consume myself in this fantasy
and lose all memory of you...
can insanity be far from here?
how much time is adequate...
for my heart to complete its grieving...
will this pain ever diminish it grip on me...
or will it torment me forever?
its for the best, I keep telling myself...
everything happens for a reason...
but what purpose is this my fate?
my heart would believe that
your leaving was not meant to be...
if it wasn't busy lamenting...
