the damage... a broken heart... is accomplished... so many times... so long ago and again... aching heart... broken spirit... tattered soul... I never understood... my fate... i am here... in several scattered pieces... broken for you... a poetic destiny... my hopes and dreams... no future to achieve... no past of achievement... no motivation for today... but to write... open sores that can never heal... tears of frustration... words... scaring the purity of this page... dark ink where there is no sunlight... trembling hands... empty hands... empty heart... a mind full of memories... you were the glue... you are the glue... holds me in one piece... but tears wash away the glue... and i fall apart again.
