whispering the words that still echo in my heart
until we seal them all with the kiss of a new sunrise?
would I find such long sought after comfort
in the warmth of your tender embrace
as we hold each other for all tomorrows yet to come?
would you be able to remember for even a moment
all of our solace memories from that long ago time
that continue to be the focus of my being?
I wonder if you would realize that whenever I see you
my heart begins to skip, jump, and then starts to flutter
