Our love could be like perfumed incense
taking us to the carefree days of finely attuned hearts
that once beat in the unison of shared passions.

We could open the wine of our memories
sharing a drink that recalls the words
that our minds still lip sync.

We could stare into familiar eyes that speak of love
and gleam at the touching of love moistened lips
that have tasted nothing so sweet as each other.

We could hear the soft mood music of lost love found
that still sings its haunting theme of, 'play me, again'
as loosened hands, wander free with the melody.

Our caressing kisses could be shared tonight
as tongues ignite in a rhapsody of dance
that leads to the union of bodies, minds and souls.

We could share a night as seasoned
as the desires within that have been suppressed
