        silently, shyly
                admiring every moment of beauty seen
just an innocent desire for a recognition
        that once was known so well
                but, what seems like fate intervened
we meet together...
        we learn of each other again
                sharing our pasts and presents,
                                      and perhaps our futures.
an understanding
        now shared between us
                you, an irresistible being...
                                and I, the insatiable one
my desire for your word grows
        yet as much as I yearn for your thoughts
                                  I will remain ever so patient
                          my emotions blossoming
                    like a shy rose in the spring
                                    almost afraid to emerge
                you are what I desire and also
                        what I have been warned of...
          the one who can steal my heart once more
                        before either of us realize it happened
now it is too late...
          we have our shared understanding
                    and damn who tries to take it away!
