Escape into her warmth… her embrace.
Over the years it has become an obsession,
To satisfy an unfulfilled void… so vast,
A chasm that remains barren to this day.

He calls her name again in the silence,
Desiring her touch, her kiss, her voice,
To become her imagination, her dreams, her lifetime.
He hungers for the love he once tasted.

She glides into his sleep like she did his whole life,
His dreams weaving vivid a castle in the air,
Built of all her love's potentials,
Possibilities he knows all too well.

She finds him uncovered, his truth fully exposed.
She invades his thoughts, she owns his mind.
She gets under his skin, where she has always been.
Leaving a profound impact on his soul,
Hoping she'll return again (if only in dreams),
For one more encounter… hearts entwined,
