a victim seduced
    by the haunting shadows,
                  cast by madman's play,
        life fading away
              in subjugation to the tragedy,
      of the losing pain,
              a fragile heart,
                        and the inability
                                      to turn the page.

all rational reason gone
        a person changed, but not
                          when before yearning eyes...
        what is hidden is seen,
                      truth once obscure,
                          eventually exposed...
              disgusted with fate...
                            fallen victim,
                                    to dreams shattered.
