though some have tried...
the way that you have!
I long for you
to love me more
than the few scattered words of
this poem can say,
I need your loving ways more
so much more each passing day.
I wish I could be return to the past
or make tomorrow just like it was
and feel your kiss, warmth and smile.
I wish I could hear now
those words, your voice, those promises
that only echo in my memory.
I want to feel the warmth of being in your arms,
away from the hectic pace of this world.
You are the only justification
for my smile, for my hope, for my dreams
even though we are separated by time and miles.
You are my lifetime love,
I believe this fact to be true.
