Love of this Lifetime

(c) Uootem 2002

Love of this lifetime,
still to fulfill between us,
the greatest of life,
I have yet to hold in hand
yesterday winds, blow such pain.

Your eyes are such lure,
still left to see reflected
in my eyes that seek
sweet love bring to me my dreams
this heart so warm, to proclaim.

yet, within my heart,
the story of souls revealed,
the loss of our love
cold and steadfast, are these rains
that take my breath from my breath.

The hope of my life,
remains deep within my soul!
loose yet not that dream,
and my ink, to with stain pages
such words that know only you.

Still drawn to secrets,
whispered beneath, sun and moon
stay thy light, to shine
drink the knowledge, here below
stay our souls, back to this place.

Sun, shining on hope
stars draw up to the heavens,
moon, shining on dreams,
keeping my being, focused
on the ever changing time.

Love of this lifetime
shall remain always and ever,
thus beat, fragile heart,
my inner most solemn thoughts,
keeping in me, hope for us.

the earth, sun, and moon
searching our universe vast,
that I seek to find
all other worlds hold no use
yet another hope, for us.
