"a thousand times before"
@Uootem
This hopeless romantic sits staring at a desolate, expressionless page and anticipates the idyllic words soon to be released from his pen -- an attempt to explain the illusion so haunting, that somehow only poetry can illustrate. through tired eyes that remember those long ago days since expired; and a love that is no vague image for it comes from a foreign time... disguised as reminiscence. here his perpetual emotions meander between futile fantasy and harsh reality... all for her to perhaps read the poet between his lines with hope that she will disengage her thoughts from the boundaries of this present world,
(for his words can have no meaning unless she does) will she close her eyes in the tranquility,
of that remembering still within and think of him... think of the "us" they once were as they used to be... should now be... for he can never forget what was once there... between two hearts.
For as the poet as announced a thousand times before he is still loving her.
