"Kiss, Come with Love Soon"
@Uootem
Kiss... (precious memory of her)
you are the dew-moistened night air that i breathe under the twinkling stars,
you are the shadows cast in my world by the luminosity of the solitary moon.
You are my lover... my love lost, focus of all my dreams... defender of all my hopes.
your smile is my mind's intoxication. i long for you in love's drunken stupor.
you are my sculptor... my heart formed by your hand,
my painter... my memories your colored pigment,
my composer... your melodies are my thoughts,
my poet's muse... the poet lives for you.
yet you are also my nightmare... my fear of loneliness,
for cruel time holds no venue for our lost love.
Yet love's memory always tends to bring me here
to my atavistic dreams that sing fragments of now passe love songs
as the moonlight casts me into the vagueness of long-ago formed shadows
and amidst all this my seclusion, I find poetic words... my heart posing in the nude,
so you will kiss my lips one last time... yet only in my memory
and I search for something to make me feel my hopes are inspired.
i suspect we both see the moments passed
as we gaze into star-lightened waters and sun-drenched clover fields
and those emotions crawl out from the waters that pass under the preverbal bridge
for I believe there is no waning of love here,
but our silence is mirrored in a chasm of emptiness.
i can not feel your touch that once captured my heart...
the warmth of your breath against my neck is unknown...
my lips ache at the craving of the taste of your lips...
i am not complete without your love... your presence in my life.
Into that abyss of love lost torment i am flung,
but my face can show no sign of my predicament...
those around me and you must not know,
and time has carried you away into your own world again.
do you really know yourself without me? i have failed to find myself apart from you.
time can mend a heart that is wounded and weakened but
the absence of your love can destroy time that built it so
i tell you now in my wanting years
it was always only you, who could bring love.
