I am of spirit again this night,
I am of no time. I am of no space.
I am in the pillow shemozzles of dreamland
For you once again enter my thoughts...

A velvet rain of dew-moistened rose petals,
Red with the passion of our young love,
Intrudes upon my castle-in-the-air type dreaming.
Cosmic dust collected in many years gone by
Encompasses my unconscious mind... I dream like no dream.
The sensation of finding again the long ago spent emotions
Starts levitating my body on a magical carpet of recollection.
I am traveling to places far beyond the restraints that
Usually chain me to the world we call reality.
In this no time and no space,
I find myself in all the places we once shared.

Rose petals transform me and the vision of you I hold dear.
Wingless, we soar to heights above tree tops and clouds...
to the stars that illuminate the darkness
Vividness of colors melt and fade as you fly with me...
Hand in hand we fly... never tiring... 
Your silken hair dancing like a wilderness campfire as butterflies sing...
Moonlight's rainbow against the twilight mist is our plumage..
Eyes of you, my lover, as sparkling as the wind on a crystal clear lake...
White arched lovely wooden bridge... where so much water has passed under.
Meandering streams echo the words you once spoke to me
As they empty their confessions into the river of life.

I reach down to find a hand full of melancholy wishing stones...
My one wish... to see you here, outside the lines that we have drawn,
To see you here in faded memory... where time is without time.
"Flyaway further into my heart"... I call to you with my wish
And all at once like startled beings twilight and sunlight and our love are one.
I am a young boy again... dancing and laughing and experiencing your love
babbling to you of my hopes for us... you finding pleasure in this sound.
