A kiss with such a taste of pleasure,
    an embrace that warms the heart,
          words whispered with such a redundant echo,
              an experience that you don't regret...
                    no matter how time moves you apart.

You reach for her as you have many times before,
    her soft hand touches your cheek,
          as your lips meet hers in a kiss,
              again making you feel so complete...
                    thinking about the moment makes you weak.

Your soul feels empty without her near.
    the longer the void the stronger the sensation
          the songs of love that once stirred your heart,
              are never heard quite the same way again...
                    when being alone and dreaming becomes an art.

Those precious memories linger through your mind
    only to leave you confused and to reality blind
          for her magnificent smile has again touched your heart
              and you still wonder why she wanted us to part
                    having these feelings can be so confusing

Yet would she find it quite amusing
    your love for her is still this strong
          but she believes the choice she made wasn't wrong
              another person now fills her heart with all the love she needs
                    and this fact shatters your inside being apart.

But you again remember
      her kiss, her love, her warmth,
          and you start the dreaming all over again.
