Saturn fought and beat Tajiri to earn a Hardcore title shot at WrestleMania. After the match, Tajiri was yelled at by Regal, so Tajiri attacked him gaining a HUGE pop from the crowd. Tajiri is a face!
Reckless Youth beat Jeff Hardy for the Light-heavyweight Title!
Hardly Christian beat The Holly's for a tag title shot at No Way Out.
Edge beat Scotty Too Hotty, but got attacked by William Regal after the match. Edge got a spot in a four-way dance for the IC title at WrestleMania by beating Scotty.
Sean O'Haire beat X-Pac to get into the four-way at Mania.
E & C beat The Impact Players for the tag-team titles to a huge pop! After the match, The Holly's and Hardly Christian attacked the Players!
William Regal beat Booker T to earn the final spot in the IC title match at Mania.
Al Snow retained against D'Lo again, but promised D'Lo a rematch at WrestleMania.
Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle took on Malenko and Erik Angle. The match started fast with Malenko and Erik beating Kurt. When Kurt crawled to the corner to tag Benoit, Benoit nailed him with a punch to the face and Malenko rolled him up for the win! Benoit is officially heel!
The Royal Rumble ended with Chris Benoit getting the victory and title shot at WrestleMania against Rob Van Dam! Mike Awesome, Shane Douglas, Kid Kash, and Chuck Palumbo represented their respective orgranizations (WCW and ECW) in the Rumble.
Rob Van Dam and Triple H fought for the last time. RVD beat Triple H with the Van Daminator to end their feud. After the match, Chris Benoit attacked RVD, and Triple H attacked Benoit. Triple H shook Van Dam's hand! FACE! Triple H announced his last match would be at WrestleMania in the Brawl.
