Notes:
The Lost
Boys send The Hollys away from the WWF for good in the
opening Loser Leaves Town match! Crash, backstage, says
he wants to stay as a singles wrestler.
D'Lo Brown and Al Snow end their feud in another Loser
Leaves Town match, when D'Lo beats Al by DQ! Damn that
Snow!
Dean Malenko, Tajiri, and Scotty Too Hotty all got a shot
at Christian's Lightheavyweight title. Surprisingly,
Malenko was the first one to go! After that, Scotty was
outed, and finally Christian and Tajiri ended their feud
when Christian retain the title! After the match, Malenko
ran back to the ring and desimated Christian and Tajiri.
E & C fought The Impact Players in a Losers Break Up
match...and E & C won! The Impact Players are forced
to break up, as E & C get a surprisingly big pop.
Perry Saturn and Erik Angle fight their last match
against each other here, effectively ending their feud
forever. Saturn gets a huge win, and makes the score 4-9,
with Erik still ahead, but Saturn is still the man ending
the feud with the win.
Edge gets a shot against Maise for ALL his titles in a
Death Match. First pin gets Hardcore, second gets Euro,
third gets IC. If there is a fourth, it gets Hardcore,
fifth gets Euro, sixth IC, and so on. However, those
rules don't even take into affect as Maise wins three
straight falls to win the Death Match and retain all his
titles!
Next, Generation X and The Hardy Boyz end their feud in
style: for the tag titles in a loser leaves town match!
In a GREAT match, GenX continues their winning streak and
The Hardyz are no more!
Brawl 7 sees The Four Horsemen (RVD, Benoit, O'Haire)
represent the WWF against the retiring Bret Hart, and
Shane Helms & Chuck Palumbo for WCW, and Jerry Lynn,
Masato Tanaka, and Sabu for ECW! And for the first
time...ECW gets the win!
William Regal defends his title against Booker T and Kurt
Angle! Booker and Regal double team Angle most of the
match, but Angle is able to eliminate Booker T for the
first elimination. And finally, down to the wire, Kurt
Angle beats William Regal to regain the WWF World
Heavyweight Title! After the match, Booker T and William
Regal effectively retire, leaving Dean Malenko out in the
cold and the Triple Threat dead. Shane Douglas berates
them and becomes Dean Malenko's solo manager.
