Notes:
Now the
"REAL WCW" invasion of ECW. C.W. Anderson and
Spike Dudley went off without a hitch. Spike had been the
TV champ for a long time, and now C.W. wanted it back. He
wins it because I think he has the look to be a future
ECW World champ.
Next was Sabu and Sandman. Yes, the match sucked, but
hey, they're two ECW legends. But in my wrestling world,
there is no time, so Hulk Hogan just may be wrestling The
Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania XXXXI. Maybe not, but
hey. Anyway, Sabu beats The Sandman because it's Excess,
not a PPV, so the match doesn't matter.
Tazz and Rhyno are the tag champs because ECW doesn't
have any real tag-teams at this point except for the
Dudley Boyz, and they're out with injuries for now. I'll
be bringing in old ECW tag-teams to fill the ranks later.
Tazz and Rhyno retain because I like the idea of them
being a kickass tag-team (so as to not overload the main
event scene, since basically everyone in ECW has won the
World title).
Steve Corino and Mike Awesome go at it to find out which
one will get an ECW title shot later in the show. Corino
recieves some outside help from a man known as Bill
Goldberg! Goldberg and the RWCW make their ECW debut when
Goldberg hits Awesome with a spear, and then throws
Corino a keyboard. Corino proceeds to bash Awesome's head
before pinning him to get the title shot.
Jerry Lynn is just upper-mid-card, and Maise is Maven
Huffman, the winner of Tough Enough 1. However, he's just
gonna train here before going to the WWF. Maise beats
Lynn in a great match.
Corino gets his title shot against Raven, and Raven has
the upper hand most of the match. In the end, Raven put
Corino down with the DDT and then was going for a
chairshot from the top rope, but Goldberg emerged again
and nailed Raven in the back. Corino rolled out of the
way before Raven almost fell on him, and then pinned him.
After the match, Corino went to shake Goldberg's hand,
and Goldberg speared him! This is a direct attempt to get
Corino against Goldberg at ECW Wrestlepalooza in May.
