Notes:
Newly
singles wrestler, Tajiri, started gunning for the
Lightheavyweight Title that Jeff Hardy held. Tajiri,
though, still isn't used to wrestling singles again, so
Hardy is able to get the win after a great match.
Perry Saturn and Erik Angle begin a feud that is destined
to take both of them to a main event of a WrestleMania.
But here, it's just Judgement Day, it's the second match,
and it's just for the Hardcore title. Angle beats Saturn
to make their series 2-0 for Angle. That ends their feud
for this year, because Erik has another feud on the
horizon.
Scotty challenges Al for the Euro title after he attacked
Al at Backlash. Al Snow, however, is too good for Scotty
and retains the Hardcore title.
Sean O'Haire and Reckless Youth continue their feud, but
this time Sean O'Haire gets the win.
X-Pac gets a HUGE upset victory over Chris Benoit in the
first match of their feud. Benoit beats the crap out of
X-Pac after the match, which was SUPPOSED to turn him
heel, but everyone hates X-Pac, so it actually makes
Benoit a more popular face.
Kurt Angle gets a win over D'Lo Brown to finally put
D'Lo's big mouth to rest. Kurt started this feud for the
sake of his friend, Benoit.
William Regal and Dean Malenko both claimed a shot at
Edge's IC title, so Edge gave them both a shot. During
the match, William Regal's lackey, Tajiri came out
holding Edge's wife hostage! Edge ran after him, allowing
Regal and Malenko to fight over the title. Ten minutes
later, Regal beat Malenko for the IC title just as Edge
was returning to the match! Edge attacked Regal and
Malenko after the match to a big pop.
The four corners tag title match started out with newly
heel Justin Credible hitting Hardcore Holly over the head
with a chair, eliminating the Impact Players. Next, Chavo
beat Crash to eliminate the Holly's, and finally Matt
Hardy beat Chavo to retain the Tag titles for Hardly
Christian.
Booker T and Triple H both wanted shots at the World
title, so just as Edge did, Rob Van Dam gave them both
shots. This match, however, was elimination. Newly heel
Triple H beat Booker T twenty-seven minutes into the
match, while three minutes later RVD beat Triple H to
retain and start a HUGE feud with Triple H, which should
actually described as HHH's retirement feud.
