Notes:
Scotty
Too Hotty faces his friend Reckless Youth for a shot at
the Light-Heavyweight title at Unforgiven (SummerSlam has
been set for Hardy v/s X-Pac as they've been feuding on
RAW for the past two weeks). Hotty gets the win over a
frustrated Reckless Youth.
Perry Saturn gets the win over X-Pac after interfearence
from Jeff Hardy.
Jeff Hardy sends a message to X-Pac by beating Tajiri
(who he's facing for his friend Edge) with the same move
that Saturn used to beat Pac.
Dean Malenko gets his win back over Booker T after Booker
beat him at KotR.
The Holly's beat the Impact Players in their feud after
Credible hit Crash with a chair. That gives The Holly's a
shot at the tag titles at SummerSlam.
Kurt Angle wanted to get his victory back from Erik
Angle, but Erik once again beat Kurt in their feud. Kurt
destroyed Erik after the match, no longer holding back
because it's his brother.
D'Lo Brown started a feud with Snow over the European
title, and D'Lo got the win over Al! D'Lo has finally
reclaimed the title that he once coveted so much.
Triple H said if he couldn't fight Van Dam, he'll fight
Van Dam's best friend, Sean O'Haire. O'Haire accepted the
challenge when Regal told him about it, but he said if he
won, he'd get a shot at Regal's IC title at SummerSlam.
Regal resisted at first, but when O'Haire explained what
HHH would do to Regal if he came back with the knowledge
that O'Haire didn't accept the challenge, Regal said
okay. In a good match, Sean O'Haire was able to get the
big win over Triple H, even with Regal on the outside
trying to help HHH. Edge attacked Regal after Triple H
lost, starting their match right away, however William
Regal was able to get the win when Tajiri sprayed Edge
with the yellow mist. O'Haire went to attack Tajiri, but
Tajiri sprayed him with the red mist and ran with Regal.
E & C got their rematch, but Hardly Christian won
again to retain.
Chris Benoit, as the King, gets his rightful shot at the
WWF title, but Rob Van Dam retains. Benoit almost snaps
after the match, but he doesn't. Dean Malenko attacked
RVD during the match, causing everyone to think Benoit
was joining Malenko, but after the match Benoit left
without Malenko as Malenko was getting attacked by RVD
setting up their match at SummerSlam. However, Triple H
ran out and attacked Van Dam, but Booker T ran out and
attacked HHH. That set up William Regal and Tajiri coming
out to attack Booker, but that brought out O'Haire to
attack Regal. Eventually, Benoit came out again and
attacked Tajiri.
