Notes:
Over The
Edge marks the first match in the Christian/Al Snow feud.
This will be Snow's last great feud before he's shot off
into nothingness. Christian gets the win.
Generation X continues their winning streak with a win
over The Holly's.
D'Lo Brown gets a win over Scotty Too Hotty in a feud
that started when Hotty said D'Lo was a quitter when
Booker T made him submit in the I Quit match at King of
the Ring.
The Impact Players fail to get any heat in a match with
The Lost Boys. If a heel team is trying to maintain it's
top heel status, they shouldn't be facing another heel
team. Players win.
Dean Malenko defeats Edge as Edge's de-push continues.
Perry Saturn defends against Booker T as Saturn said that
no man could beat him for the European title. Booker made
the challenge, Saturn accepted. In a HUGEEEEE upset,
Saturn beat Booker to retain his title!
Erik Angle attacked RVD on RAW after KotR while Rob was
fighting Kurt as revenge for Kurt costing Rob his title.
That set up this match. Rob beat Erik to end their feud.
After the match, Kurt and Erik beat down RVD.
The Hardy Boyz went after the tag-team titles for the
first time in a LONG time. However, Jeff Hardy gets a
little overzealous and nails Chavo with a chair to give E
& C the win.
And now, the triple main event with awesome matches.
First, Maise and Sean O'Haire continue their awesome feud
with Maise beating O'Haire in a 4 1/2 star match to
retain the IC title.
Next, Kurt Angle defends his Lightheavyweight title,
which many people think he shouldn't have, against the
man he's been feuding with for the last couple of months,
Tajiri. Rob Van Dam paid Angle back for costing him the
World title by costing Angle the Lightheavyweight title.
He tripped Angle and then gave Tajiri a road sign while
he distracted the ref. Tajiri recieved a HUGE pop, and
the Lightheavyweight title is suddenly one of the most
over titles in the fed for the first time since Dean
Malenko held it regularly. The next night on RAW, RVD
takes on Kurt in a Cage match where RVD proceeds to
destroy Angle and end their feud.
And finally, King Chris Benoit took on William Regal for
the World Heavyweight Title. Regal and Benoit put on the
best match of the night, but it all ended with a little
help from Booker T and a chair, and Regal locked Benoit
in the Regal Stretch for the win. This is the start of
their feud that will span the rest of this year.
