Notes:

A huge night! Since the "REAL WCW" isn't going away, many believe this should be the night they gain some ground. And they just might be right! The first match starts with Hogan and Flair putting on a great match against E & C to teach them more of a lesson. the RWCW take the first win!
Hardly Christian fight the Impact Players in a space filler. Hardly Christian win, but it leads them nowhere.
Saturn FINALLY defends his Hardcore title, after not defending it at ALL since WRESTLEMANIA! His opponent? The same man he fought last time for this title: Al Snow. But alas, Saturn gets the win and retains because he needs it.
KAIENTAI take on the Holly's in another match of their ongoing feud. Yet again, the Holly's lose to KAIENTAI, because Tajiri is a great wrestler and TAKA is pretty good, too.
Booker T and Sean O'Haire fight in a "respect" kind of match to see who, if either, should get a shot at RVD's belt. After a GREAT match, Booker T picks up the win, but most likely not a title shot.
The Dark Carnival make it 2-0 as they beat Triple H and Kurt Angle. ICP helped a little, but it's HHH and Angle! These guys are former World champs! DC just may be a wonderful tag-team one day.
Edge gets his shot against X-Pac for the WWF IC title. In a decent match, Edge finally conquers the "singles demon" who has been keeping him down, and he gets his hand on some WWF gold again!
Reckless Angle fought Goldberg and Steiner in a very good match. However, the RWCW wasn't able to keep their streak alive, as Reckless Angle beat them and took the win!
Kanyon went up against D'Lo Brown in a weird assortment. Amazingly, these guys have played off one another awesomely over the past month, allowing this match to be upper-mid-card instead of a curtain jerker. D'Lo gets the win to make the score 2-2!
The Outsiders take on Benoit & Malenko in non-title competition. Benoit & Malenko, no matter how good, got beat by Nash & Hall. Nash went on to call them the Vanilla Midgets.
Savage fought Regal in another oddly placed match. Savage beat Regal, allowing RWCW to take the lead 4-2.
And finally, Rob Van Dam gave Chris Jericho a re-match. The match was superb, surpassing their last encounter, and RVD retained the title! It may not have let the WWF win the night, and RVD may have won by countout, but the WWF still took home the ultimate prize.
However, after the match, Hollywood Hulk Hogan himself came out and laid out RVD with a chair. He claimed it was time for someone else to take the reigns of the RWCW, since Jericho didn't do such a great job. He said it was time for him to get one last run with the WWF World title before he retires, and he's going to take it from RVD at Unforgiven. Jericho seemed pissed off after hearing this, but Bischoff cooled him down. The PPV goes off with Hogan posing over RVD's body.
