Notes:
The
Holly's took on Hardly Christian in a nothing match.
Hollys won when Matt Hardy wouldn't release Crash from a
Sharpshooter even though he had the ropes.
Tajiri continued his feud with Maise over the Hardcore
title here, but he was once again beaten. After the
match, Maise continued to beat down Tajiri until Saturn
ran out for the save.
Al Snow challenged Scotty Too Hotty to a non-title match
in their continuing feud. Snow got the win and
subsequently recieves a shot at the European title next
month.
Generation X challenged the top face team in the fed to a
match, and won! They recieve huge heel heat, and not just
because X-Pac sucks! WOW! Kid Kash is displaying just why
he was a multi-time Television champ in ECW.
Saturn once again challenged Erik Angle, this time for
the European title. Saturn ended the night 0-9 against
Erik Angle.
Booker T, William Regal, Edge, and Jeff Hardy fought in a
#1 contenders match for the World title. William Regal
took the win and will fight for the World title at
Armageddon!
The Lost Boys defended against The Impact Players in a
heel v/s heel. The Lost Boys were getting the face pop in
the match, and they successfully beat the Players to
retain.
Sean O'Haire, D'Lo Brown, and Chris Benoit challenged
Dean Malenko for the IC title. Malenko was out first
after D'Lo and O'Haire teamed up on him. After that,
Benoit got rid of D'Lo, but after that, Sean O'Haire
defeated Chris Benoit to become the new Intercontinental
Champion!!!
Kurt Angle once again challenged Rob Van Dam for the
World title! In their ongoing feud, Angle has only won
non-title matches, while Van Dam has won all the matches
that count. RVD once again won this one! After the fact,
he was attacked by William Regal, the start of their feud
which will also go on for quite awhile!
