Notes:
Teamed up
heels, Hardcore & Scotty, against their feuds, Crash
& Malenko, in a tag match. A good opener, and it
helped to further the feuds.
Eddie & Chavo finally win the WWF tag titles. After
the match in an interview, Matt and Jeff said they will
no longer team up, but instead they'll focus on their
singles careers.
Bradshaw fought Al Snow for the Hardcore title and beat
him. Al wanted this match because he didn't want to win
the title with help from Bradshaw, so he wanted to kick
Bradshaw's ass for interfering. Tajiri and Perry Saturn
continued their mid-card stability. Sadly I haven't been
able to find anything for them to do, so I had to just
keep them mired in the mid-card.
Different story for Edge, though, as he started his
singles rise right away. His first feud was with TAKA,
who Christian hired as a hitman against Edge. Edge won
after Christian hit him with a chair.
A Sean O'Haire and Rob Van Dam feud was teased. I put
these two in there just to see how they'd do against each
other, and it was the best match EVER (at least that's
how I picture it). But, O'Haire isn't ready for IC gold.
Faarooq wanted to prove he was as good as Bradshaw, so he
started a small respect feud with Benoit. Well, Faarooq
won, but only when Bradshaw interfered. Faarooq and
Benoit beat the crap out of Bradshaw after the match (I
got rid of the 24/7 rule, so neither tried to win the
Hardcore title).
In what was just to try to get Christian high on the card
to try and establish him as a singles star, I got a
surprise, as Jericho was injured. I had him booked in the
second-ever Interpromotional Brawl, on the WWF team,
against WCW and ECW, at WrestleMania. But he won't be
able to return until about SummerSlam, so I put Saturn in
his place in the match.
X-Pac and Kanyon had been teaming up on Raw's and
SmackDown!'s recently, so I put Kanyon on PPV for the
first time since he came to the WWF. But Kanyon turned
against the Pacster, to start their feud.
Triple H and Angle teamed up to face Booker and Regal.
HHH and Angle got the win! Why? BECAUSE!
