Notes:

I WANTED to start the show hot, so I put Snow and Hotty into a program, but they bombed. Luckily the match that was a bad idea to start at Backlash saved it with a while garbage match with Faarooq retaining against Saturn.
Ever since Matt lost the Euro title, he and Christian became a tag-team. They fought and beat the Impact Players, who just can't seem to make a real impact in the WWF tag division.
Next up, Edge got a shot at the IC title, but Rob Van Dam retained. Rob's ready, I'm just waiting for the right time to put him at the top.
It was time to shake things up in the Light heavys, so TAKA beat Dean in a GREAT match to win the Light heavy title. This only makes TAKA a TWO time champ.
Now, the King of the Ring tournament. Umm...all the qualifying matches were on RAW and SmackDown! last week...yeah. Benoit beat Bradshaw to move up.
In another great re-match between the two, Sean O'Haire lost to Tajiri, so Tajiri advanced to the semis. This match was the match of the night, so yes, Sean O'Haire is now ready for some gold.
X-Pac beat Test (who never went WCW, but just wasn't on PPV cuz I never wanted to use him) to advance to the semis.
And finally, William Regal beat Jeff Hardy to advance to the semis. Regal stuffed a pair of brass knucks into Hardy's trunks, and told the ref Hardy used them. The ref checked to see if Hardy had them, and then DQed him.
Eddie & Chavo got a chance to win back the Tag titles, and they did it, but they also injured Hardcore when they did it. That's sad, because I had Hardcore and Crash booked at Over The Edge in a #1 contenders match.
Semi-finals, Chris Benoit and Tajiri put on a GREAT match, but Benoit advanced to the finals!
And his opponent...William Regal! Regal beat X-Pac in an okay match to advance.
Triple H, in his new upper-mid-card role, beat Kanyon. However, he WILL soon be elevating talents to World title status.
And William Regal finally gets his due in the WWF, as he wins the King of the Ring by beating Chris Benoit in what may be the best match of the night! It's a toss up between this and O'Haire/Tajiri's match. Regal is the king!
Kurt Angle beat Booker T to retain the title! Booker thought he had it won, but Angle pulled the victory out of nowhere!
