Colonel USAF (Ret) September 16, 1920 - July 24, 2003 May his soul rest in peace... ![]() Another brother from the GREATEST GENERATION has made his last flight and final transfer to God's Heavenly Hanger. Left behind is his loving wife and a large extended family, He was more than a hero to his two sons. He was also blessed by six step-children whom he loved as his own. He was loved by most and respected by all who knew him. Wallace H Cameron, (aka Wilco, Walis) Colonel USAF ( Ret) transferred to Angel Flight on Thursday evening 7/24 after a lingering illness. May he rest in peace. |
Wallace Cameron
Services were at: 1 p.m. Monday July 28, 2003 at Sandia Baptist Church in Clovis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; three sisters; and his first wife.
Dr. Herbert Bergstrom and the Rev. Hoyt Welch will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Blair Cemetery at Wheatland, with full military honors by the Cannon Air Force Base Honor Guard.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Camp, W.Y. Mitchell Jr., Tommy Hohstadt, Allen Yates, Gary Northcutt and Jay James. Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis. |
