First off, you're not going to get your OSHie to pose well by just snapping the camera. You're more likely to get a terrified look, before your cat runs away. You have to use the 'Door Method'.

When a cat comes out of the red door, it runs towards the hand and performs one of several actions. One of these is a nice show pose. If he doesn't do it first time 'round, put him away, take him out again and hope for the best. Sooner or later, he'll pose for you. It's just a case of getting him lined up correctly and snapping the camera at the right moment.

It's a little time consuming, but what're you going to do? Hopefully, you'll end up with something liek this:

OSHies are meant to be 'pear' shaped - you want a nice deep curve along their back. The tail should curled gently over it's back and the head should look symmetrical. It's impossible to get level eyelids in an OSHie show pose, slightly tilted eyelids aren't faulted at all. Only one front legs/foot should be showing, and you want as wide a space as possible between the back legs.

As far as I'm aware, you can use the perfume/love potion bottle to get a pose from and OSHie, but I've not had much success with that. I don't think you get as nice a pose, but it's an alternative if you're not having much luck with the 'Door Method'.
