The 3rd GLOBAL CONVENTION
of UPLB Alumni and Friends

Dear
Fellow UPLB Alumni and Friends,
We
cordially invite you to join us in Las Vegas for the 10th
Anniversary celebration of UPLBAA-America and the 3rd Global
Convention of UPLB Alumni and Friends. This 2-day event
will be held on October 6 and 7, 2006 at the Circus circus
inLas Vegas, Nevada. The theme of this event is: "Honoring
the Past, Building the Future."
We
are looking forward to this vibrant and exciting event,
meeting former classmates and friends and rekindling of
the UPLB spirit. Features of this event will include a reception
of UPLB alumni and friends, symposium and dinner-dance commemorating
the October 10th Loyalty Day, which is celebrated annually
at UPLB.
This
is a fund-raiser event. In addition to the registration
fee, UPLBAA-America is also soliciting for donations as
sponsors, patrons and friends of UPLBAA-America, and personal
and business advertisements in our souvenir program. With
your help, we are hoping that this event will become successful.
Net
proceeds from this event will go to the UPLBAA-America funds
for donation to improve instructional facilities at UPLB
and to the UPLBAA-America Foundation.

forms or print and complete the MSWord versions, and mail
them to: Julie Ovejera-Belo, 6425 Sussex Place, Gilroy CA
95020, with your check payable to UPLBAA-America no later
than September 1, 2006. This will give us ample time to
prepare everything prior to the event.

UPLBAA-America
was formed on October 5, 1996 in San Francisco, and during
this short span of time, UPLBAA-America has proved to be
a successful and very viable alumni association. Through
various fund-raiser activities such as this event, UPLBAA-America
has donated to date about $10,000.00 to support various
UPLB projects. UPLBAA-America is committed to building stronger
futures for UPLB through alumni commitments worldwide and
to ensure that UPLB alumni worldwide remain connected to
their Alma matter, classmates and friends. With your support,
we can be assured that this mission of UPLBAA-America will
continue.
We
hope that you will join us for what promises to be a very
enjoyable and unforgettable event. We are looking forward
to seeing this October.
