Late Night Showing is: Miika Himanen - drums, guitar, bass, vocals; Keith Baxter - vocals, bass, drums; & Simon Baxter - guitar, bass, vocals.
The band originated in Thunder Bay, ON in mid-2001, when Miika and Keith would jam after school and write songs. The three started jamming at Keith and Simon's church that summer, where there was a set of drums they could use. They called themselves The Upper Room even though it was just three guys jamming together. To Keith it started out as a side band (he played bass and sang in the Late Corvaire) and so they never really took it seriously until 2003 when they started playing shows. Late Night Showing exists for good times, to be a positive musical entity, and to create high quality rock songs that can be appreciated by a wide range of musical tastes. The band is unique in that they switch instruments for different songs. This makes for interesting live shows, and a certain diversity within their song writing. They played their first show in April of 2003 at a talent show, playing three of their songs. Songwriting is a group effort, often stemming from jamming during practices. LNS just released their debut album " Sign of Light" in early August 2005, and hopes to play lots of shows this fall and winter season.

>Keith is 22. He has been in a few bands in his time, besides Late Night Showing, including (but not limited to) The Late Corvaire and The Kickaz. He is currently single, but enjoys long walks (on the beach) and other things.

>Miika is 22. Late Night Showing is his first band. He started the band with Keith when they would jam after school and write songs. Miika likes music with a solid drum beat and a good melody. He is smart and disciplined, with a well-trained sensitive side.

>Simon is the younger bro of Keith and he is a solid 20 years of age. Simon is a very good guitarist with fresh ideas. He has written many songs for solo purposes and collaborated with friends on countless occasions. Simon was suckered into Late Night Showing by the two older members of the band when they kidnapped and drugged him because they needed a versatile third member. That is a lie...well sort of.
