I am glad I came because . . .
I am glad that I went to Subic because I was able to feel
young again. After so many years falling
out, not hearing
from almost everyone, the opportunity
to renew old ties and
reminisce the wonderful experiences
we had at the Prep, was
simply too good to waste. Every minute
was worth the time
and effort. Wish we could do it more
often.

Manny, I have gone back and forth for 5 times to my reply
screen and each time I stared at your question and tried to
answer for more
than an hour and I couldnt come up with exactly the right
answers. Why? Because I am still into it!!! I can still see
everyones faces very vividly and to give me one or two
paragraphs or a note would make cramming the entire Bible
into one page easier. Extreme gladness & Euphoria are the
feelings I have right now...to put it simply. The reunion
itself got me lost in a trance. I was trying to talk to
everyone and finding out whats going on with them without
looking like a fool. All these in between all the activities
and singing. But I knew time was not enough...not nearly
enough. When I got home in LA, I couldnt tell my family
anything for three days, cuz I lost my voice.
I apologize for not being able to give you a complete answer
right now. I would have to tell you some other time when my
emotions turn sober. The Subic event appeared like the
opening ceremonies of the Olympiad. It signals the big
events about to come. Finding out about our long lost
friends and whatever else information we get from each other
from now on is a contribution to the triumph of life. An
abyss is being filled. We have to find our other classmates.

Thank you, beautiful sentiments! I hope others would follow
suit cause these affirmations will give us greater
motivation to search more actively for those who are still
out of the loop.
