2.Enhance Organizational Skills

• As pledges, this is our opportunity to shine bright, and show that we can uphold those expectations set by the fraternity. In order to do so, we must learn how to manage our time, be organized, and stay on top of our duties.

3.Improve communication and listening abilities

• in order to work together, our pledge class must first learn how to communicate with each other, and learn how to listen to each other. Having every voice heard is an important aspect to creating a harmonious atmosphere, no one is left out.

4.Build lasting relationships

• The Upsilons were not brought together for the sole purpose of conducting professional matters, but to also become lifelong companions: brothers. As we all go through the pledging experience, we must learn how to laugh with each other, cry for each other, and be there for one another as we create the most memorable time of our lives, together.

5.Try new experiences

• We are all working together to become brothers of Delta Sigma Pi. We must show the Fraternity what we can do, by taking risks, and working hard to go above and beyond requirements. We must show what the Upsilons can do.

6.Understand and live up to Delta Sigma Pi’s purpose

• The purpose of Delta Sigma PI is an extremely important aspect of the Fraternity; it is why they exist. Therefore, as pledges, it is important for us to fully understand and subscribe to the purpose in order to help the fraternity maintain their high standards when we become brothers.
