Eipper Flexi-Flier

Ground Skimmer was an American hang gliding magazine that published photographs of the earliest manufactured hang gliders.

This ground skimmer is an Eipper Flexi-Flier standard rogallo.

Like many images of the early hang gliders on this web site, it is a photograph of a painting. As you progress to pages describing later years, photographs of reality -- both in-flight and ground-based -- are used instead of photographs of paintings.
