7th October 2001: Vol.1 #1
Hello everyone and a warm welcome to the newest column from UPW, The Governor's Report.

Now first of all, in case you didn't know I am The Almighty Dave, former UPW Prez. I think the main question that everybody is asking is
Why is Dave back? Well its pretty simple really. The prez has been having some hard times lately with decisions, his staff and everything else that happens backstage and so he asked me for help. I couldn't really turn down the offer, so I helped the three main staff members out and during this discussion I was invited back. Now I'd like to clear one thing up, there was speculation that the Vice Prez was going to get fired, he even said himself and some may blame me for that, so heres the story from my pov.
You see, during the time that the commish and prez were both solely in charge, the vice prez wasn't really given a proper job to do, so each member of staff thought that we didn't need him, however I came up with the idea that I'd be a fourth member of staff: The Governor and Mike would still keep his job but help out more with the e-fed and so with more help from him as well, business should be picking up. That about wraps up why I'm here.

Next, I'd like to say sorry to every single wrestler for the results being so short in the last two weeks, as you all know Scorpion has had problems. However, from now on the prez will have a little time off, just to get back in gear and the commish will take over as fill-in prez for the weeks to come. Don't worry, we plan on improving everything including the results starting this week, thank you all for sticking with us in these "dark" times.

We now come onto some great losses to the federation.
Without reason, Cajun has left us, I'm not going to give you any bullshit, I think this man has a big ego, he thinks hes too good for this fed but you know what? I don't think we need him, I mean he hasn't exactly had an impact on UPW. Cajun, although you left on bad terms, I wish you a happy future and I hope you find what your looking for in life.
Now we move onto a great blow to UPW, our first champion: Suicidal Jimmy has quit. I know he left without reasons but he has told me that its nothing to do with not being a champion, nothing to do with losing, hes just having a rest from e-fedding, I guarantee you that he will be back in the future, bigger and better than ever and good luck in whatever you do.

Comments

This is the section of my column where I'll comment on some wrestlers and rumours etc etc.

Snake: So far, Snake's been going well, if you carry on rping to the best of your abilities, you'll get to the top in the near future. Keep up the good work and keep improving on your roleplays.

Jarrara: After a big win over Jimmy this last week things have been going well for you, as with Snake keep improving on your roleplays and in the future you will also make it to the top of the list.

Harmony: A strong start but you seem to have been quiet for the week, keep at it and roleplay more, afterall you are the European Champion.

Brawler: You are a very loyal UPW wrestler but I think you need to make your roleplays bigger, also don't rush into them, think about it, improve on it, make it bigger and things will only get better. Also, no dissrespect but STOP posting up all those match ideas like you do, I think everyone knows what a japanese death match is, decide on ONE and if someone doesn't know what the rules of it are, then you may tell them.

Mr X: I am predicting you to win the UPW World Title in your match with Tazz, if it wasn't for that short holiday, then I think you'd be champion right now. Great roleplays, keep at it and you will be the top man in the business.

Tazz: After your terrible short roleplay towards Brawler, you have lost a couple of points to me, if you are too tired to write a roleplay then don't bother. You are a great roleplayer but please do not post half ass attempts. Anyway, just keep up the work that we've seen in the last couple of weeks and you will maintain your role as world champion.

Jeff Jarret: See below.

Wrestlers of the Week: Jeff Jarret

Yep, In my opinion, this man has been ruling the roleplay boards this week. He has been consistent with his roleplays, they are long and even a good read. Awesome roleplays and I knw you from the past and they ain't even your best roleplays. If you carry on like this, I have no doubt that after Living Dangerously, you will have that UPW World Title around your waist. What more can I say?
Keep up the good work, Jarret.

I guess this wraps up my first shortened column, I'll be improving on this column every week.
