- *** Updated *** Liver, Pancreas and Gastro Answers! Just the completion of Liver question 9. Available from the VETS3004 page.
- Intro Surgery notes! These are courtesy of Dave, our fearless leader! Hope they help you all, good luck with the study, just one to go!!!! Available from the VETS3004 page.
- Pasture Answers Reloaded! These answers are courtesy of Dawn! They should be a little better than the last lot. See ANIM3028 page.
- Pig Answers. Again, Flic has sent me her answers to past exam questions. This time it's pigs, thanks again Flic! This was a late night workout, so beware of errors, not that I could tell if they were right or wrong anyway!! See ANIM3028 page.
- Poultry Answers. Flic has sent me her answers to the Poultry component of past papers, thanks mate! Make good use of them guys! See ANIM3028 page.
- Dog and Cat Answers. I have just posted my answers to the Dog and Cat components of past exams. Not necessarily as I would answer them, but an overview of the information that would most likely be required. May be a bit extensive. See ANIM3028 page.
- Brooke's Medicine Answers have been posted as a pdf document. Thanks Brooke! The file is best viewed at lower zoom and should print fine. Available from the VETS3004 page.
- Sheep and Beef Answers. I have just posted my answers to the Sheep and Beef components of past exams. They may be a little extensive in areas, but you get should get the idea. See ANIM3028 page.
- 2001 Pasture Exam answers. I have just posted the answers to the 2001 Pasture exam. They look they they're pretty right, not that I've done any study for that part yet, but they look good. Let me know of any mistakes. See ANIM3028 page.
- More answers to Virology Questions and Past Exam Questions - It may be a little late, but in case you need a second lot of answers to check with, here are mine. The past exam answers are pretty much taken straight from the sample questions document. Find them at the VETS3005 page.
- Answers to Bacteriology Questions, part 2 - Remainder of the sample questions. However, no pasteurella yet, haven't done it! Good luck! Find the answers at the VETS3005 page.
- Answers to Bacteriology Questions, part 1 - I have done some answers for the first part of Bacteriology, up to and including Brucella. I apologise if there are any errors. If it looks like I've over answered any questions, it's probably because I have, more for understanding of the whole picture, rather than a narrow answer. Who knows what we'll get asked!! They can be found on the VETS3005 page.
I hope to post the second half soon, as soon as I complete them myself, if in time for the exam. If anyone has a copy of theirs that they would be willing to post, please forward them to me.
- Answers to Virology Questions - Jandy
has kindly donated her answers to the sample virology questions. They can be found on the VETS3005 page.
Many thanks to Jandy for kindly sharing her hard work. I'm sure we'll find them very useful!!
- Answers to Pathology Questions - Jerome
has kindly donated his answers to a large number of
sample pathology questions. They can be found on the VETS3006 page.
Thanks Jerome for sharing your hard work!!!
- Tom Cowan's Lecture Slides. I have just
gotten hold of these 5 minutes ago and just posted them.
Sorry, he couldn't find his slides from lecture 1. Hope
this helps those of you out there who requested these.
See ANIM3028
page.
- Past Exam Questions. I have posted past
exam questions on each subject page. Each has a word
document, which contains exam questions from the past
four years or so. One or two papers were unobtainable.
Check each word document first, as I have put references
of where to find questions relating to a specific part in
the accompanying pdf files. The idea here is to reduce
the amount of time spent looking and pages that you need
to print out, by condensing them all into the one small
file/area. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to
ask.
- Sheep Nutrition notes available from ANIM3028 page.
These are direct copies from John Holmes' OHT's, which
are available in the library, and have been for many
weeks, as a High Use. They may seem a little repetitive,
but the reason for this is that I have entered both the
slides, and the annotated information that he planned to
say as he went (which was also in the folder at the
library). I'm sorry if the order isn't exact. The folder
was pretty messy and slides didn't seem to be in perfect
order, but this is the best I can do. I will place a copy
of the 4 figures that refer to appendix at the front of
the folder in the library! Just ask for it at the loans
desk (it is green, and is on the right hand side, very
easy to see).
- Julie has given me copies of some of
Isobel Johnstone's neuromedicine slides. Each slide
contained the picture from page 16 of our notes, with the
information for each different syndrome below it. I have
not put the picture in the document, only the
information, to save space on the site. The document is
available from the VETS3004
page. Link is now working properly,
sorry about the inconvenience.
- Pictures of Mycology prac
information available on VETS3005
page.
- VETS3004
Mid-Semester Exam answers. They're not perfect,
but they may give you a guide. Basically taken straight
from the notes. See VETS3004
page.
- Links to Lymph Node Cytology added to VETS3006 page.
- About 60 Halfway
Dinner photos have been posted. Still some
more to come.
- Post exam Bowls: St Lucia Bowls club, Fri 21st Oct (after our exam), about 11am. Green fees paid for, so everyone gets to bowl. BBQ and beer provided. Please let myself or Amanda Darbishire know if you can't make it.
- As we all know, it's SWOTVAC next week.
Best of luck to everyone in your study for the exams. I'm
sure we'll all be flat out. If anyone has notes, has
spoken to any lecturers and gotten hints, anything useful
at all, could you please let me know and I can post it. I
will still tend to the website over SWOTVAC and the exam
period, but if there are minor delays or problems you
find, please be patient. I'll have things up as soon as
humanly possible. Again, good luck with the study!!!
- There are a number of people that have requested
I try and obtain some answers to sample questions
from each subject with which they can check their own
answers. It would be much appreciated if someone could
donate their answers so that I can post them. I have been
flat out trying to get more information ready to post, so
any help here would be greatly appreciated.

post, that are already scanned into their computer, or
that were taken on digital camera, please forward them to
me and I'll get them put up asap.

Unfortunately, the Red Lions season finished last weekend in
the Preliminary final, for both the Reserves and Seniors teams.
Both games were hard fought, but the Uni teams were over run by
their opponents, who both pulled out great games and thoroughly
deserved to win on the day. Hopefully next season the Red Lions
can go a step or two further and establish a grand final
presence, and maybe even pull off a win.
Visit the Red Lions website
- Photos have now been addeed. Still
some work happening there - will soon have player profiles. The
site has a News and Events page, season draw, sponsor details,
contacts and club history. So far this year the Red Lions Theme
Song has copped a punishing. The lyrics can be found at the website.
