I had three children, I raised them right Taught each to love one another and not to fight. I gave each their own room, with no one to share. I have some work to do, and thyself for to care.
I left them some rules, all written in a book. Do you need anything? Then in it do look. I never left them alone, I always was there. And this is the story of how they did fare.
The first child did read and open the book. The second child said "Well I'll take a look. The next saw no pictures and in it forsook.
In it I told them some things they should know. Of what to do and where they should go. Also it said if you need just one little thing. Ask me and I'll give it to you just give me a ring.
Of course it wasn't long, they all had some needs. My first child did ring and her I did feed. My second knew not how to get a hold of me. My next one was lost, she never was free.
I soon returned to them, their needs were so great. To see how they did fare and what was their fate. You can imagine how they did, of what they became. But I loved each one in my arms, I love them all the same. |
