Escape
Dark, night, clouded or clear,
Run, run where nobody's near,
Rainy, shrouded, dry or frozen,
To the place which I have chosen.

Forest, houses, hills and mesh,
Surround my body, bone and flesh,
Free my mind flies up on high,
Into the stars above the sky.

Ascending higher than the stars,
Headless of the fleeting cars,
Until I turn into the light,
And leave my wings out in the night.
