Most ideas are only variations on old ones. Very few are new, and even fewer are truly GREAT. "The World is round." - That is a GREAT idea.

If you read about history, you know ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. Which is not to say that we have total control over everything that happens to us, but simply, that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

twentyfirst century

so, this is the twentyfirst century
all these trees and an endless sky...
rolling through time;
welcome to the great "new" age,
with birds and lonely country roads letting out a sigh.
the furture is here, now;
and not a moment too late,
(as if it could be)
the "new" has come in,
on a wind that is suspiciously like the old.
old neil's still strummin'
the sounds of the next generation just as bold.
so this is the twenty-first century;
all these beautiful trees
and endless blue sky
rolling through time.

The Real Me

I've got a sense of humour that you don't even know about,

Written after a dump...
The immediacy of it is amazing. Time; history; the past. It happens overnight. Yesterday's animal tracks are today's fossils. This morning's footprints are this afternoon's memories. It comes in the form of a snow flake, a wind, a lost bird. It is constant in its change only, and it is a force that can't be stopped. It is the ONLY force that can't be stopped - or even altered.
